Each year, thousands of paper pin-up flowers are sold in local stores, restaurants, banks and other businesses across the country to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's. At the point of purchase, tellers, waitresses and cashiers offer the flowers to patrons for a donation in the amount of their choice. The business then displays all of the flowers sold to create a community-driven awareness display in the store.
It's easy to participate, the Alzheimer's Association provides all necessary tools and materials. All you need to do is say YES!
Alzheimer's disease is the 6th leading cause of death in the United States and currently there is no way to prevent, treat, or cure it. By participating, your store can help raise awareness and funds to support all those affected by Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.
